Lane Closure - Portola Ave between Montage Dr. and Collier Canyon Rd.

Contractors for the new Shea Portola Townhome project (100 Portola Avenue) will temporarily reduce Portola Avenue to one lane between Montage Drive and Collier Canyon Road. The closure will start on March 8th and shall be in place through April 2024. The closure will allow the contractor to install a new bike lane with planter areas along Portola Avenue. Bicyclists can dismount and cross Portola Avenue at either Montage Dr. or Collier Canyon Rd. and use the southern sidewalk as a detour.  Please note that speeds along Portola Avenue will be reduced from 40 MPH to 25 MPH for safety during the closure. Please call the City of Livermore Engineering Division for any questions at 925-960-4500.

Sidewalk Closure - Portola Ave between Montage Dr. and Collier Canyon Rd.

Contractors for the new Shea Portola Townhome project (100 Portola Avenue) have temporarily closed the northern sidewalk along Portola Avenue between Montage Drive and Collier Canyon Road.  The closure starts on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 and shall be in place through June 2024 and will allow the contractor to place a new bike lane with planter areas along Portola Avenue.  Pedestrians can cross Portola Avenue at either Montage Dr. or Collier Canyon Rd. and use the southern sidewalk as a detour.
