City Hall Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Replacement

The current heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in several City buildings have reached the end of their service lives. Certain components are no longer supported, and the current systems have been discontinued by the manufacturer. Replacing these systems is necessary to avoid HVAC failure. This project will include:

Replacing HVAC control systems for City Hall, the Police building, and Library,
Installation of carbon dioxide sensors at various locations to improve the efficiency of the air-handling units, and
Replacing current boilers and chiller which are at the end of their useful lives.

Project Schedule and Status

Current Status: Boilers installed, chillers installed and start up. Software installed and troubleshooting chillers. Commissioning of boilers underway and chillers to follow in June 2024. Looking at substantial completion by the end of July 2024.

Project Design: Complete

Project Construction: Expected to be completed by September 2024.
