The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) access ramps program evaluates the list of ramps, which is updated routinely, and prioritizes, plans, and provides ADA compliant ramps throughout the City. The priority is based on various factors including high public use areas and safety concerns. State and federal laws require public facilities to be readily accessible to and usable by individuals with disabilities.

The project will include approximately 28 ramps at various locations. The installation of access ramps increases the safe mobility of Livermore's disabled citizens.
