The City of Livermore's Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Loans provide a second mortgage loan for first time homebuyers who desire to live in the City of Livermore.  These loans provide down-payment and closing cost assistance for low- to moderate-income households. 


Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Loans

CalHome Loan

Income Limit: 80%AMI

Max Loan Amt: $60K

Interest: 3% simple 

Term: Deferred payments for 30 years 

BEGIN Loan

Income Limit: 120%AMI

Max Loan Amt: $30K

Interest: 3% Simple

Terms:  Deferred payments for 30 years

MAP Loan

Income Limit: 120% AMI

Max Loan Amt: $60K

Interest: 3% simple

Terms: Amortized payments for 20 years

MCCProg

 

Provides first-time homebuyers with a federal income tax credit which increases their ability to qualify for a mortgage. The amount of the tax credit is equal to 10% or 15% of the homebuyer’s annual mortgage interest paid.
