Update May 3, 2024: Community Service Day Postponed...Collection Drives Still Happening

Tomorrow’s weather forecast is worsening, calling for steady rain and windy conditions during the time of Community Service Day. Sadly, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the event to a later date this year. We want to ensure the safety of all participants as well as the success of the event and the 30+ individual project sites. Thank you all for understanding. 

Big thank you to everyone who registered to volunteer, and to event sponsors and organizers. We are looking forward to hosting Community Service Day at another time. Please stay tuned for updates as well as for additional opportunities to volunteer throughout the year.

Even though tomorrow’s event has been postponed, collection drives are still happening. If you’d like to donate, please see the list of participating nonprofits below.

Collection Drives 

Participate by donating to the following collection drives.

Friday, May 3:

• CityServe of the Tri-Valley (3311 Pacific Ave) from 10am-2pm
  • Needs: Non-perishable pre-packaged snacks, bottled water, sunscreen, sun caps, cooling towels, paper bowls and plates, plastic forks and spoons

Saturday, May 4:

•  CityServe of the Tri-Valley (3311 Pacific Ave) from 8am-10am
  • Needs: Non-perishable pre-packaged snacks, bottled water, sunscreen, sun caps, cooling towels, paper bowls and plates, plastic forks and spoons

• Tri-Valley Haven (3663 Pacific Ave) from 8am-12pm
  • Needs: Toilet paper and paper towels 

• San Francisco Premium Outlets collecting for Tri-Valley Haven (2774 Livermore Outlets Drive – inside food court) from 9am-1pm
  • Needs: Non-perishable food items only

• Shepherd's Gate
  • Complete online donation form and schedule delivery
