Join the City of Livermore, Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District, and Livermore Area Recreation and Park District on Saturday, May 4, 2024, to volunteer your time and efforts to beautify our community, creating a lasting difference together.

Following individual volunteer events, all volunteers/donors are invited to Las Positas College, where we will host a celebratory festival event that will include a Volunteer Opportunities Fair along with complimentary lunch generously prepared and provided by the Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation and US Foods, and entertainment by local band Crawdad Republic.

Community Service Day needs more than 800 volunteers to complete projects throughout the city.

This year, volunteers will help out at 30+ volunteer sites to beautify the city and engage with each other. The majority of the projects don't require any special skills other than a willingness to pitch in where needed and a desire to make a positive and lasting impact in the community. Early registration is encouraged as project teams fill quickly. Register today to volunteer for the 2024 Community Service Day!

Participate by donating to the following collection drives.

Friday, May 3 (day before Community Service Day):

• CityServe of the Tri-Valley (3311 Pacific Ave) from 10am-2pm
  • Needs: Non-perishable pre-packaged snacks, bottled water, sunscreen, sun caps, cooling towels, paper bowls and plates, plastic forks and spoons

Saturday, May 4 (Community Service Day):

• CityServe of the Tri-Valley (3311 Pacific Ave) from 8am-10am
  • Needs: Non-perishable pre-packaged snacks, bottled water, sunscreen, sun caps, cooling towels, paper bowls and plates, plastic forks and spoons

• Tri-Valley Haven (3663 Pacific Ave) from 8am-12pm
  • Needs: Toilet paper and paper towels 

• Las Positas College Veterans Program (Las Positas – 3000 Campus Hill Drive – Parking Lot “H”) from 8:30am-11:30am
  • Needs: Diapers (any size), baby wipes and baby/infant toys

• Shepherd’s Gate (Las Positas – 3000 Campus Hill Drive – Parking Lot “H”) from 8:30am-11:30am
  • Needs: Chips and popcorn, fruit cups and pudding cups, jam, Otter Pops, graham crackers, cookies, Goldfish Crackers and Cheez-Its, juice boxes/Capri Suns, bottled water, children’s sunscreen

• San Francisco Premium Outlets collecting for Tri-Valley Haven (2774 Livermore Outlets Drive – North parking lot near Tesla chargers) from 9am-1pm
  • Needs: Non-perishable food items only
