The North Canyons Parkway and Dublin Boulevard Connection (Project # 2002-59) will connect Livermore and Dublin by extending Dublin Boulevard from its intersection with Fallon Road to North Canyons Parkway at its intersection with Doolan Road in Livermore.

The 1.6-mile connection will improve traffic circulation and access to local destinations such as Las Positas College. It will also help relieve traffic congestion along I-580 and provide an alternate route for emergency vehicles during peak traffic hours. Alameda County Transportation Commission and the City of Dublin are leading the project. The Alameda County Transportation Commission is the implementing agency for the Final Engineering Plans, Specifications and Estimate Phase. 

The new road will have 2-3 lanes, a separated bicycle lane, and sidewalks in both directions.  Construction of this segment of road will also include a bridge over Cottonwood Creek.
