Community members are invited to an afternoon of dance and storytelling as Lois Ann Flood performs a selection of the historical dances of Isadora Duncan at the Civic Center Library (1188 South Livermore Avenue) on Sunday, June 2, 2024, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees will learn how California influenced Isadora Duncan on her path to becoming the mother of modern dance. Dance expert Lois Flood will show how Duncan’s life and ideas changed the world of dance and the views of women in the arts.
