Genealogy Workshop by Livermore-Amador Genealogical Society

The Livermore Public Library and the Livermore-Amador Genealogical Society (L-AGS) present a free genealogy workshop in the Community Rooms of the Civic Center Library, 1188 South Livermore Avenue.  Attendees may drop in at any time, no registration needed. Volunteer genealogy docents from L-AGS will work individually with attendees on a first come, first served basis to help them conduct genealogical research using online tools such as Ancestry Library, HeritageQuest, and FamilySearch. Laptops will be available for use. Attendees are advised to bring a USB drive so they may save relevant documents. The event is open to all ability levels, from people who have never done any family history research to people who have been working on genealogy for a while.

Register (if you haven't already) for our Summer Learning Program at Livermore.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack app. Paper gameboards are available at all Livermore Library locations.

The Livermore Public Library Summer Learning Program runs until August 14, 2024. Help us meet our community reading goal of 5 million minutes! All ages are encouraged to join. Participants who read and log their minutes have the opportunity to win prizes. Raffle prizes include Nintendo Switch, Le Creuset Chef’s Oven, LEGO Sets, and more!
