Unity Day

Unity Day is Wednesday, Oct. 18. Wear and share ORANGE to send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying.

Founded in 2006, PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center actively leads social change to prevent childhood bullying, so that all youth are safe and supported in their schools, communities, and online.

Livermore School District, the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District, and the Livermore Public Library are having a week-long celebrations from Oct. 16-20!

  • Unity Chain: Monday, Oct. 16 - Friday, Oct. 20 (with special emphasis on Wednesday, 10/18)
    Unity Day is Wednesday, Oct. 18! But all week long you will be able to share a message of kindness, acceptance, and inclusion on a piece of paper that will be joined with others to make a chain to decorate the library. At the Civic Center Youth Room Desk and the Information Desk at Rincon and Springtown.
  • Kindness Cards: Tuesday, Oct. 17
    Stop by any library location during open hours to create a kindness card. Give it to someone you know or leave it with us, and we will send the cards to spread your message of kindness, acceptance, and inclusion at the Senior Center.
