Veterans Park, an approximately 0.7 acre public park, will include open green spaces, a children's play area, and ample landscaping. It is named in honor of those who served in the armed forces and will include a memorial space for veterans.

City staff worked with professional landscape architects and stakeholder groups to develop three concept park designs. Staff conducted community outreach in fall 2021 to collect feedback on the designs. Outreach included a virtual workshop (recording), a farmers market booth (public feedback), and a digital survey. 

Based on this feedback and stakeholder input, City staff is currently refining the park layout and selecting a single design. The Planning Commission and City Council will review the design in 2024. The park will be constructed with the Eden Housing project.
