Livermore Municipal Water is now offering an up to $100 rebate for installing pool covers. Why should you get a pool cover?

  • They can reduce pool water evaporation by 95%.
  • They will keep debris out of your pool, making it easier to clean.
  • They can help reduce energy costs by retaining pool heat.
  • Who Can Apply for this Rebate?

    This program is only available for properties that receive their water service from Livermore Municipal Water. If you are a California Water Service (Cal Water) customer, visit their website to view rebates available for you.

How to Apply

Step 1: Confirm your Eligibility

This rebate is only available to Livermore Municipal Water customers. If you are unsure who your water service provider is, use our Address Look Up Map.

Step 2: Purchase a Qualifying Pool Cover

The new pool cover must cover at least 75% of your pool's surface. Mesh, liquid, and ring covers do not qualify for this program. Additionally, pool covers purchased second-hand do not qualify for this program.

Step 3: Submit your Application

Submit your application through the Zone 7 Water Agency website within 60 days of purchasing the pool cover. Along with the application, you must submit a copy of your receipt and a photo of the installed pool cover.

Step 4: Receive your Rebate

After your application is approved, your rebate will appear as a credit on your Livermore Municipal Water bill. Please allow six to eight weeks for processing. For an update on your rebate processing, call (925) 960-4320.
