Meetings

Committee Meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month at the Civic Center Meeting Hall, Mendenhall Room, unless otherwise posted. All meetings are open to the public and subject to the Ralph M. Brown Act.

Duties and Responsibilities

The General Plan Advisory Committee is intended to represent and further the interest of the community and long-term vision of the City and that such representation and furtherance will ultimately serve the public interest.

The Committee shall have the following duties and responsibilities:

Provide input and feedback to City staff at specific intervals throughout the development of the General Plan update
Provide information to and serve as a liaison to the community and respective groups
Provide input and feedback to City staff on proposed General Plan goals, policies, and objectives.
