County and State Aligned in Ending State of Emergency
In alignment with the end of California’s COVID-19 State of Emergency, the local public health emergency for COVID-19 in Alameda County ended February 28, 2023.
The Alameda County eviction moratorium was passed by a Board of Supervisor's resolution and is set to expire 60 days after the local health emergency lifted on Feb. 28. Further questions regarding the Board of Supervisors’ Eviction Moratorium can be directed to County Supervisors’ offices.
City of Livermore Proclamation of Local Emergency
On March 13, 2020, the City Manager declared a Local Emergency. The local emergency was ratified by City Council and continued every 30 days into 2022, where the emergency was terminated by Council in April 2022, then reinstated in May 2022 (Reso. No. 2022-077) and continued in June 2022 (Reso. No. 2022-099). The local emergency terminated thirty days thereafter, as it was not renewed.
