Garage/yard sales may only be conducted in residential zone districts.

Only one garage/yard sale event per four-month period and the event shall be limited to not more than three consecutive days or two consecutive weekends which doesn’t exceed four days in all.

All related garage/yard sale event signs shall be in compliance with LDC 4.06.140 Temporary Signs. All garage/yard sale event signs must be removed w/in 24 hours after the garage/yard sale.

The garage/yard sale event shall not be conducted before 7am or after 8pm.

The garage/yard sale event shall not encroach upon or be conducted from the public right-of-way (public street, sidewalk, etc.).

No licensed retail or wholesale dealer shall be allowed to consign or offer for sale any merchandise or participate in any garage/yard sale event.

Any garage/yard sale event that is not in compliance with the conditions specified in this subsection will be considered unlawful.

Violations

Violators will be subject to citation and penalties per LMC 1.20.
